For six years, we have shared our passion for VR and we try to make everyone discover the pleasure of diving in immersion thanks to virtual reality whether it is to play, travel, play sports or watch multimedia content. For it, we have chain Youtube which offers many videos on the subject, we publish articles in the section AR/VR of the site thanks to dedicated editors and finally, we offer entertainment at trade shows to make you “live things” rather than simply see them. This weekend is at Mang’Azur 2022 that we will crack down !
As a reminder, the Mang’Azur is a fair dedicated to Japanese culture and that of South Korea. It offers to introduce everyone to these two cultures through their traditions and music, as well as their modernity, thanks to thematic activities and the presence of actors from the French and Asian scene.. In addition to shows, signings and shops, there are also many entertainment areas including the one with our stand VR which will be in front of the palace, in the hotel Ibis.
Weekend program on the GAMERGEN.COM stand (21 VR headsets)
- Family area:
This space will allow the youngest, in the company of their parents only, to discover virtual reality through a cartoon or scuba diving in complete safety thanks to four VR helmets. Parents and children will live this experience together.
- Free roaming area (free movement):
Big news on the stand, there will be at least three headsets dedicated to free-moving experiences. It will be possible to play and pretend to be an explorer or, for non-gamers, to visit an art gallery without any use of controllers.
- Multiplayer space:
Four VR headsets will be dedicated to games allowing several people to compete face-to-face virtual. Whether it’s the Dodge Ball corner or the Duel corner, you will discover that virtual reality immersion greatly increases the pleasure of playing with friends.
- Discovery area:
If you have never done virtual reality, we reserve a space for you to learn, while having fun, to exist in a virtual world. At the end of this experience, you will be ready to dive into the metaverse… or, at least, to apprehend all the other VR experiences without complexes.
- Gaming area :
If you’re used to VR, you’ll have free access to a huge catalog of games for ten-minute sessions. We will also have jackets with haptic feedback (bHaptics and Woojer) and cybershoes that we will be able to have some informed visitors to the stand try on.
- Driving simulator on cylinders and VR headset
You will also find our driving simulator on cylinders and with a VR headset (HP Reverb G2) and our supercharged PC (i9 10850K + 32 GB + NVIDIA RTX3090).
- Space Skinetic by Actronika (future haptic jacket)
You will be able to discover, exclusively, Actronika’s future haptic jacket which is currently on Kickstarter. The concept ? To offer you very real sensations in virtual experiences such as feeling the rain falling, the wind blowing on our body or even, for example, the impacts of bullets for the most playful. This jacket is really the best and will be available to the general public by 2023, but you can discover it on our stand in preview. You can test it via an impressive technical demo or, for gamers, by playing Half-Life Alyx. You can also go see our dedicated live on our YouTube channel here.
In these times of health crisis, we remind you that we apply the basic rules of hygiene which are essential, that is to say the disinfection of the helmets between each passage, that of the controllers and the obligation for the players to disinfect your hands with hydroalcoholic gel when arriving in space VR.
