Manhunt is underway – wrong-way drivers from Salzburg fled after the accident

An unknown ghost driver – probably with a Salzburg license plate – rammed the car of a Tyrolean in the early evening on the A1 between Regau and Seewalchen (Upper Austria). The police are urgently looking for him.

The unknown driver had been traveling at high speed in the fast lane of the A1 in the direction of Linz (in the wrong direction). A 35-year-old Tyrolean was able to dodge a little in the area between Regau and Schörfling, so that there was no frontal collision but “only” a side collision. Fortunately, the Tyrolean survived the crash unharmed. Escape after accident The person who caused the accident just drove on after the collision and is now urgently wanted by the police. He is likely to be driving a black Audi with SL license plates for Salzburg Land. His car could be badly damaged on the side and rear. The Seewalchen Motorway Police Inspectorate is asking for information on 059 133/41 73 100.
