After a man wanted to settle a dispute between four men at the Rennweg train station at the end of May, he was attacked and robbed by two men from the group. After one of the suspects has already been arrested, the search is now on for the second man. The police are asking for information from the public.
The incident happened on May 27th. A man noticed a verbal argument between four men and tried to mediate. Two of the men then attacked him with kicks and punches. Cash stolen A suspect also tore a bracelet from the victim’s wrist and stole cash. The suspects then fled. Manhunt in full swing One of the two suspects, a 30-year-old Austrian citizen, was found after extensive investigations. So far, however, there is no trace of the second unknown. The police have now succeeded in evaluating a photograph. The Vienna police are requesting the publication of these images by order of the Vienna public prosecutor’s office. Relevant information, also anonymously, is requested to the Vienna State Criminal Police Office on 01-31310-62800.
