Manitou: confirms its 2022 sales forecasts – 26/04/2022 at 18:24

(CercleFinance.com) – The group achieved a turnover of 450 ME in the 1st quarter of 2022, down 4% compared to the 1st quarter of 2021. ‘This withdrawal is the direct consequence of the wave of the health crisis at the start of the year and difficulties in supplying components which slowed down the deliveries of finished products’ indicates Michel Denis, Managing Director.

With quarterly revenue of €355 million, the Products Division recorded a 9% drop (-10% at constant exchange rates and perimeter) compared to the 1st quarter of 2021. The Services and Solutions Division (S&S) posted an increase 15% of its turnover (+13% at constant exchange rates and perimeter).

The order book is 3,274 ME at the end of the 1st quarter of 2022 (compared to 1,344 ME in the 1st quarter of 2021).

The group confirms the anticipation of a 2022 turnover increasing by more than 20% compared to 2021 but suspends the operating margin guidance in the absence of visibility on the consequences of the Ukrainian conflict.
