(CercleFinance.com) – Manitou Group announces the inauguration of a new factory dedicated to the production of aerial work platforms in the Petit Tesseau area in Candé (Maine-et-Loire), the group’s second work platform plant, and its sixth based in the great West.
The historic factory located in the Fosses Rouges area, also in Candé, will continue to produce industrial platforms, while this new site will be entirely dedicated to the production of all-terrain platforms.
Representing an investment of 26 million euros, this plant, where 80 employees work, will enable Manitou to respond to the structural growth of this sector in Europe as well as internationally, particularly in the United States.
