(CercleFinance.com) – Manitou announces an investment plan of 70 million euros ($80M) for its two North American production sites of Yankton and Madison, based in South Dakota.
It will concern the extension of the two sites, the strengthening of innovation, and the development of new ranges.
This 70 million euro plan initially concerns the expansion of the Yankton (articulated loaders and telescopic handlers) and Madison (compact loaders, skid-steers and track loaders) sites, and then the modernization of equipment industrial production lines.
In parallel with the industrial investments which will represent 50 million euros, nearly 20 million euros will be dedicated to research and development.
