Manitou strengthens in Italy

(Boursier.com) — The group Manitou announced the acquisition of all the shares of the Italian company GI.ERRE, which specializes in service activities for Manitou products. With this takeover, the group is strengthening the quality of service provided to its customers in this region. With 23 years of experience, the GI.ERRE company manages many activities on its site in Castelfranco (Italy) such as servicing and maintenance of machines, rental, as well as the finalization of certain tailor-made models.

The company covers the Emilia-Romagna region (Italy) where Manitou Group is already well established with a production site dedicated to the ranges of rotary and high-tonnage telehandlers, to the design of accessories, as well as an international logistics center for spare parts. GI.ERRE achieved a turnover of 3.6 million euros in 2021 for a workforce of 14 employees.
