Manutan: growth of 6.4% in the first quarter of the 2021-2022 financial year – 01/14/2022 at 6:15 pm


(AOF) – In the first quarter of the 2021-2022 financial year (ended at the end of December), the activity of the Manutan Group posted growth of 6.4% compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year, including a positive exchange rate of 1.1% and a positive day effect of 0.1% (+5.2% at constant exchange rates and days, no scope effect). Turnover thus amounted to 225.6 million euros, against 212.1 million euros for the previous financial year.

Growth was driven by the Business division, which saw all its areas grow in the first quarter, enabling it to post a seventh consecutive quarter of growth.

The Local Authorities division was affected by a base effect, with activity in the first quarter of the previous financial year having been particularly buoyant, due to a shift in local authority expenditure towards the last quarter of the calendar year. 2021, linked to Covid-19 and the municipal elections.
