Many mistakes – the Viennese laugh at the unsuccessful bathing sign

The start of the bathing season is imminent, the Viennese baths are getting ready. A “Krone” reader reporter was all the more astonished when she came across a sign in the Angelibad that doesn’t seem to be fully developed yet.

Not only is the warning text on the sign a little bumpy, but no one should have looked more closely in the dictionary at the sender of the message – the “operations manager”. “The sign hangs by the playground equipment in the Angelibad on the Danube,” says “Krone” reader reporter Claudia, who was deliciously amused by it. The Angelibad is a summer pool in the city of Vienna on the Old Danube. It is visited by around 50,000 bathers every year. The first to open its doors this year, however, was the Schönbrunner Bad, which opened a week ago at 19 degrees.
