Marble Christmas cake: the easy and delicious recipe: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

The ingredients to make the Christmas cinnamon marbled cake

To prepare the mini Christmas marbled cakes for 4 people, you will need:

  • 250g of soft butter + 30g for the mussels
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid honey
  • 250g of flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • chopped zest of 1 lemon
  • grated coconut

Utensils:

  • 4 small individual molds

Stages of preparation of the Christmas cinnamon marble cake

Step 1 : preheat the oven at thermostat 6 (180 ° C).

2nd step : Butter the 4 mussels and put them in the refrigerator.

Step 3: whisk the brown sugar with the honey and the soft butter in a bowl.

Step 4: Add the eggs one by one, then add the flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and lemon zest.

Step 5: work the dough with a wooden spoon so that it is homogeneous.

Step 6: separate the dough into two equal parts.

Step 7: flavor part of the dough with powdered cinnamon and the other with cocoa.

Step 8 : fill each mold 3/4 full with the two dough mixes.

Step 9: bake for 20 minutes.

Step 10: out of the oven, sprinkle the cupcakes with grated coconut.

Step 11: let them cool before unmolding them. Put them in paper boxes then serve.
