A death which upset Marc Lavoine. On January 9, the singer learned of the disappearance of Patricia Coquatrix. The daughter of Bruno Coquatrix, legendary former owner of L’Olympia, breathed her last in Marrakech “surrounded by her family and her animals”as revealed Le Figaro. Sad news which deeply moved the 61-year-old artist. Guest on the morning set Good morning !broadcast this Wednesday January 17 on TF1, Marc Lavoine returned to the important role that Patricia Coquatrix played at the start of her career. “I owe him everything. She listened to me, she took me seriously.”, he declared, his voice hoarse with emotion, to Bruce Toussaint. And to continue: “I was 17-18 years old. I worked at her house. It feels weird to talk about this, I wasn’t expecting it at all. She followed me, she encouraged me and introduced me to Florence Aboulker (producer, editor’s note), who introduced me to her son and then I started.”
