Marc Terenzi is defending himself against a criminal order for sexual harassment. As his lawyer announced, the singer filed an objection.
The singer Marc Terenzi (45) has lodged an objection against a criminal order for the alleged sexual harassment of a minor. His lawyer announced this in a statement to the “Bild” newspaper. The Borna district court in Saxony had previously issued this penalty order. The prosecution’s accusation: He touched his ex-partner’s 15-year-old daughter on the buttocks. Terenzi also described her as “sexy”.
“We have of course lodged an objection against the penalty order,” said Dr. Andreas Hohnel, Terenzi’s criminal defense attorney, told the “Bild” newspaper. The accusation that his client touched a young person’s bottom was “outrageous”. That’s why Terenzi is now defending himself “with all determination” against the penalty order.

There were also other allegations made against him – for example that he kissed the teenager – which, in contrast to the accusation of sexual harassment, were dropped: “It is not clear why an alleged grab on the bottom is now punished with a penalty order to understand. Especially since this grab on the bottom never existed.”
If this penalty order became legally binding, any woman could destroy any man at any time, Hohnel continued: “This penalty order is such a fatal and very serious wrong decision.” According to the report, the court initially decided on a fine of 20 daily rates.
A penalty order is an accelerated and purely written court procedure. A judge imposes the punishment after examining the facts of the case, without there being a public hearing. In these cases, the defendant can only force a main hearing to be held after objecting.
