Luxury realtor Marcel Remus brings a real diva to Mallorca. “Denver Clan” -Best Joan Collins is the first guest of his Villa Remus.
He sells their villas to the stars on Mallorca, now luxury realtor Marcel Remus (34) has created his very own dream villa. Since autumn 2019, the 34-year-old has been working on his property, the Villa Remus, directly on the Son Vida golf course, west of the center of Palma de Mallorca – one of the most desirable locations on the whole island. The Mallorcan by choice also actively involved his followers in the design of the world’s first “social media house”. They were allowed to vote on some decisions such as the exterior paint or the style of the garden.
First detour after the Corona travel ban
With Joan Collins (88), the world-famous beast from the cult series “Denver Clan”, Remus now welcomes the first visitor to the luxury villa. The Hollywood diva flew in in a private Hahn Air jet. It is her first long-awaited detour after months of the Corona travel ban. “It was worse for us in Great Britain than any other country, the lockdown was terrible,” recalls the actress. “I was very relieved when I got my two vaccinations. I’ve felt a lot safer since then.” Collins was even vaccinated on the same day as the Queen (95). “Isn’t that fantastic? And with the same vaccine – AstraZeneca,” says the 88-year-old happily.
The actress owns three houses herself. One in the south of France, one in London and one in Hollywood. For them, however, Mallorca is the most beautiful island in the world. With the filming of “Our Girl Friday” she even made film history here in 1953 as the first actress to appear on the big screen in a bikini in America. “The bikini was out of a sailor’s shirt because I was stranded on a lonely island in the film. Palma was very simple back then, there were far, far fewer houses …”
100 square meter private pool
In the Villa Remus you now have 700 square meters of living space including a Louis Vuitton style kitchen, a living area with fireplace and bar and a nearly 70 square meter master suite with its own Finnish sauna. In the outdoor area of the classic villa there is also a 100 square meter private pool, which is one of the largest in Mallorca, an outdoor shower and a whirlpool.
By the way, the dream of feeling like a Hollywood star yourself and pimping your Instagram profile with new holiday photos can come true for everyone at Villa Remus. The world’s first “social media house” is available to guests for a week from 1,950 euros per night, depending on the season. A maximum of ten people can share the cost of the luxury property with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
