Mare Nostrum joins the Business Convention for the Alps Climate

(Boursier.com) — Convinced of the need to produce in a sustainable and responsible way, the group Mare Nostrum joined, on February 1st, the movement of the Convention of Companies for the Climates of the Alps (CEC Alpes), in response to a call for applications launched for the attention of companies in the Alpine basin.

A local version of the Business Convention for the Climate (CEC), created in December 2020, CEC Alpes has set itself the task of organizing, with regional players, awareness and transformation courses aimed at decision-makers. to accelerate the ecological transition of their territory.

The Mare Nostrum group is delighted to be among the 80 companies and institutions in the territory selected for this formidable adventure. He will thus participate, alongside companies of all sizes, in the modules of reflection intended to bring together actors from the same territory, united around a common project: to co-build a regenerative economy in order to resolve the dissonance between the collapse ecological and economic priorities.

With its participation in the CEC Alpes, the Mare Nostrum group once again confirms its environmental and societal commitment. In line with its CSR policy, initiated since 2010, the Mare Nostrum group sees in this great collective initiative an opportunity to concretize its commitment for a societal transformation of its activities.
