Margaret Qualley in a horror game by Hideo Kojima

Hideo Kojima more than ever in the spotlight, at least on the side of video games. While the headliner of his game death strandingNorman Reedus, inadvertently announced that he was actively working on the sequel to the game released in 2019, it is rumored from unofficial sources that the Game Director is also working on the creation of a horror game called Overdose.

An insider by the name of Tom Henderson, from the site Try Hard Guides, recounts having seen images of this game in development, which features actress Margaret Qualley. That’s good, she was already in the game death stranding, in the guise of an interesting character called “Mother”. In the images of this horror game, the actress would pace a dark hallway using a flashlight, and dressed in a blue dress, before completing her journey on a jump-scare.

A game logo even leakedwhile the title of the game was revealed by another insider on June 6. Speculations that could make you smile if it is not that this last insider had precisely revealed upstream the list of games presented in the recent State of Play from Sony Playstation; list which turned out to be quite accurate…

A few years ago, Hideo Kojima was working on a new opus of silent Hill, in which Norman Reedus was to be found. The game was eventually canceled by Konami. Maybe this Overdose is a form of response to a frustration of not having been able to complete this old project.

Anyway, we should be very soon fixed on this potential new game from Kojima. Perhaps during the conference that Microsoft / Xbox must hold this June 12; residue of the conferences that opened the E3 show which did not return this year. Unless the ad is reserved for the show Summer Game Fest scheduled for this Thursday, where many games should be presented.
