Marguerite Cazeneuve, this name may mean nothing to you. However, this young woman, aged 31, “brilliant”, according to those who meet her, “with a rapid and jerky delivery that it is sometimes a little difficult to follow her” they also say, is found on the front line to manage the Covid crisis. At the Élysée, then at Matignon, attached to the two cabinets – a rarity – between 2020 and 2021, it was she who supervised the “task force” to respond to the emergency and deploy vaccination. With Emmanuel Macron, Édouard Philippe and then Jean Castex, she gradually established herself as one of the main advisers in the shadows on the front of the pandemic.
Everything would be fine if the young and talented Marguerite Cazeneuve had not become a symbol, reluctantly…
