Mariah Carey has an exceptional vocal range. A fact that she also proved during her first Covid-19 vaccination.

Mariah Carey (52, “My All”) is one of the few singers who can hit notes right up to the so-called whistle register. The five-time Grammy Award winner even manages that in unusual situations, such as a new video on her Instagram account proves. In it, the diva receives her first Covid-19 vaccination – and the doctors and observers present a taste of her singing talent.

“Side effect of the vaccine: G6,” wrote the 52-year-old on Saturday (April 3) next to the recording, which shows, wearing sunglasses and a face mask on a patient chair. An allusion to the high pitched tone heard while the vaccine is being injected into her upper arm.

Mariah Carey was “excited and nervous” before her corona vaccination

Carey had previously let her ten million followers know that she was a little “excited and nervous” in the run-up to the vaccination. She also distracts the medics from their job with their chatter: “But you know how I am. I just talk and don’t really think about it.”

After receiving the first dose of the vaccine, the “We Belong Together” interpreter encouraged her followers to do the same and get vaccinated against the coronavirus. “We’re all in it together,” she says in the one and a half minute clip. “Love you very much!”
