So funny does it ring in the Christmas season

Mariah Carey seems happy that Halloween is over now. She ushered in the Christmas season with a funny Instagram video.
Halloween is just over when Mariah Carey is already ringing in her favorite time of the year: Christmas. On Instagram the singer shared a funny clip in which she clearly declared the horror festival over. In a red glitter dress, she enters a house in which pumpkins are set up with the inscription “It’s Not Time”. She smashes the “Not” pumpkin with an oversized candy cane while her hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” sounds.
Christmas can’t come fast enough for Carey
In the further course of the video Carey beams into the camera disguised as Santa Claus. A Christmas present with the inscription “5.11.” faded in – a hint about a release next Friday? In the end credits a text appears: “It’s time !!! … to smash the pumpkin and turn it into a cake … We still have to get through Thanksgiving after all !!!”
The “Queen of Christmas”
Mariah Carey is often referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” by her fans. Her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (1994) has sold an estimated 16 million copies worldwide and is considered the most successful Christmas carol of all time. The official music video has on the YouTube platform almost 700 million views (as of November 1, 2021).
Last year the singer hosted the “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” for Apple TV. For the music event, she got support from celebrity friends such as Ariana Grande (28), Snoop Dogg (50), Jennifer Hudson (40), Billy Eichner (43) and many more. It is not yet known whether there will be another Christmas special this year.
