Mariah Carey’s classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” tops the singles charts again this week.

This week, international artists are celebrating an early Christmas. With the classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” from 1994, Mariah Carey made it back to the top of the single charts, determined by GfK Entertainment. And like last year, Wham! with their hit “Last Christmas” in second place. A further 31 Christmas carols can be placed in the top 100.

Meanwhile, the newcomer Gayle (17) lands third with “abcdefu”. Acraze and Cherish slide down to fourth with “Do It To It” and “The Last Song (Everything will be fine)” by Kummer (32) and Fred Rabe improved to fifth.

There is also a Christmas spirit with the albums. 19 records are in the top 100, including “Happy Christmas” by Howard Carpendale (75) and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in third place, and Roland Kaiser’s (69) “Christmas Time” right behind in fourth place.

After the successful start of Adele (33) last week, there is a change at the top. While the British slipped on the two, the Swedish cult band ABBA recaptured the throne with “Voyage”. The album also features the Christmas song “Little Things”, to which the band released a music video on December 3rd. With “Turning To Crime” the legends of Deep Purple enter the five.
