She turns a good thriller into a strong one: Mariam Hage plays the main character in the new Vienna “Tatort: Azra”. How do you know them?

In the latest Vienna crime thriller “Azra”, the “Tatort” investigative team Eisner and Fellner use the services of informant Azra. The main role in the episode is played convincingly by the Austrian actress Mariam Hage, who has not yet been seen in any major roles. However, this may change soon due to their strong performance.

Hage is the daughter of a Lebanese father and a Serbian mother and was born in Vienna in 1992. She grew up there and, after graduating from school, studied history and philosophy at the University of Vienna. In 2015 she finally decided to become an actress and trained at the renowned Krauss drama school in the Austrian capital.

First she took part in some short films and in 2017 she played one of the leading roles in the first fictional series “Trakehnerblut” produced by the private broadcaster ServusTV. Last year, Hage appeared in an episode of the crime thriller “SOKO Linz” and in the cult crime series “Der Alte”. She also played in the ZDF Christmas comedy “Alle Nadeln an der Tanne” alongside Anna Loos and Marcus Mittermeier.
