Marie Kondo, known for her Netflix cleanup show, is expecting her third child. She announced her pregnancy on Instagram.

The Japanese consultant and bestselling author Marie Kondo (36, "Magic Cleaning") is pregnant. She is expecting her third child, as she has now revealed on Instagram. "I have news! Another bundle of joy is on the way," writes Kondo, who became known to a broad masses especially through her Netflix show "Cleaning up Marie Kondo". In addition, she published a picture on which her baby bump can already be clearly seen.

She already has two daughters

Together with her husband Takumi Kawahara, to whom she has been married since 2012, Kondo already has two daughters – Miko and Satsuki. The Netflix star had previously revealed on his website that being a mother had also influenced his tidying up behavior.

"When I first became a mother, I was frustrated when I couldn't tidy up my home the way I wanted," writes Kondo. After her second child, she sometimes didn't even have the energy to use some of her earlier methods herself. Being a mother taught her to "be more lenient with myself". The joy you feel as a parent is much greater than the satisfaction you get from a completely tidy home.
