Marie Nasemann: harsh words on "priorities with baby"

Marie Nasemann is pregnant! The model is expecting a baby with her boyfriend. Time has run out since the announcement of pregnancy – because Marie is already in the 29th week! On Instagram, the expectant mom keeps her fans up to date and is positive about the upcoming birth. But one topic seems to be burning on her soul – and so Marie Nasemann now speaks up with a clear mom message.

Marie Nasemann: "Never thought so much about what is not important to me"

For Marie Nasemann, the exciting part comes especially after the birth. The new family member will turn her life upside down, she is aware of this: "This year the cards will be reshuffled for me," she opens a thoughtful post. It is about priorities and time. Because the latter becomes scarce with baby. Marie Nasemann does not want to start the new phase of life unprepared. It is better to sort them out beforehand:

Which jobs can I confidently cancel, which friendships let me sleep, which hobbies let me rest? That sounds tough, but I'm realistic about it.

This year the cards will be completely shuffled for me. This is going to be exciting. Definitely a few things will be left behind from May for which there will be no more time. I was never particularly good at prioritizing. At the beginning of a year, I have never given so much thought to what is important to me, both professionally and privately. Above all, I've never given so much thought to what is not important to me. Which jobs can I confidently cancel, which friendships fall asleep, which hobbies let go. That sounds tough, but I'm realistic about it. For some things there will simply be less time and I think it is only helpful to make conscious decisions instead of being extradited, and then sadly realize that some hobby is unfortunately no longer pursued, a big professional goal lost sight of or who hasn't seen a friend you really appreciate for months. Believe me, @tiggess and I get really pissed off when some people tell us "From May onwards you won't see you anyway" or "That was the first thing with going out" etc. etc. Just because 80% of people prioritize their baby like that Laying or so does not mean that everyone places their priorities either way. Of course, I don't yet know what it will really be like when the baby is there. What challenges will we really face then? But I want to stay optimistic, open and self-reflective and continue to live a life that feels self-determined. Even if such a small person will always be dependent on me. Marie Nasemann already wants to consciously divide her future time into things that are really important to her. To be "delivered" and to lose important hobbies, friends or professional goals is out of the question for her. Her words are clear, they sound like a declaration of war: Marie does not want to be put down.

Just because 80% of people prioritize their baby with one way or another doesn't mean that everyone prioritizes with one way or the other.

In any case, she reacts annoyed to comments that she and her boyfriend will no longer be seen anyway from May (their baby is due to be born in April) – because even if her baby is not yet born, she does not want to dictate leave how she has to divide her time afterwards.

I want to remain optimistic, open and self-reflective and continue to live a life that feels self-determined.

Marie Nasemann not only receives positive feedback on the clear words – many followers express their concerns and doubts in the contribution. Because a little baby can quickly overturn even big plans. But Marie Nasemann remains calm – she answers friendly and open to criticism. Because how the family time really is, is in the stars. And the mom could hardly be more excited!
