Marilyn Manson's former mentor Trent Reznor has also spoken out about the allegations against the shock rocker.

Many years ago, Trent Reznor (55), front man of Nine Inch Nails, took a young, unknown Goth rocker named Marilyn Manson (52) under his wing and signed with his label Nothing Records. But a long time ago colleagues and friends became enemies. A fact that Reznor emphasized in a statement to the "Pitchfork" site in the wake of the abuse allegations that have become public against Manson.

"I've been expressing my displeasure with Manson as a person for years and broke with him almost 25 years ago." Why Reznor feels compelled to comment on the matter at all is obvious. Since Manson's ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood reported abuse during her relationship with the shock rocker, a passage from Manson's autobiography "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell" has been circulating online. It implies that Manson and Reznor allegedly assaulted an alcoholic woman in the 1990s.

Reznor on this matter: "As I noted back then, the passage from Manson's biography is fictitious. I was beside myself and felt attacked when it appeared and still feel that way today."

Musician Phoebe Bridgers with terrible accusation

Meanwhile, another woman spoke up in the person of musician Phoebe Bridgers (26). She reports via tweet of an incident that is believed to have occurred when she was a teenager and stayed at Manson's house with friends. "I was a big fan. Then he called one room in his house the 'rape room'. I thought it was just his weird prole-humor. I stopped being a fan," writes Bridgers. Apparently there was no assault on her.

And further: "The label knew it, the management knew it, the band knew it. To distance yourself from it now and to pretend to be shocked and horrified is damn pathetic." She also stands by all women who have spoken up against Manson and who have reported anything from abuse to rape during their relationship with the shock rocker.
