The allegations of abuse against the musician Marilyn Manson are apparently being investigated by the police. A suspected victim is to be interviewed.

After several women have made serious allegations of abuse against Marilyn Manson (52), the US authorities have now apparently opened an investigation. As the US celebrity portal "TMZ" claims to have learned from police circles, the officers will meet with an alleged victim of Manson in the next few days. However, a name is not mentioned in the report.

The first step is to clarify whether a crime has been committed and whether it falls under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Department at all. After that it should be decided, so "TMZ" further, whether further investigations are necessary.

Manson owns a "rape room"

In early February, actress Evan Rachel Wood (33, "Westworld") went public and accused Manson of domestic violence and rape on Instagram. He drugged, handcuffed and physically injured her. She later accused her ex-partner of anti-Semitic and racist remarks in her Instagram stories.

The musician Phoebe Bridgers (26) then had on Twitter claimsthat Manson talked about having a "rape room" in his home many years ago. And further: "The label knew it, the management knew it, the band knew it. To distance yourself from it now and to pretend to be shocked and horrified is damn pathetic."

Manson denies all allegations

Esmé recently accused Bianco (38), known for her role in "Game of Thrones", Manson also of abuse. In an interview, she described the musician as a "monster that almost destroyed me and almost destroyed many women". She accused him of physical abuse, torture and control, among other things, and called him a "repeat offender".

Manson has so far rejected all allegations. On Instagram he spoke of a "terrible distortion of reality". His "intimate relationships" were "always completely amicable with like-minded partners".
