Marine Le Pen, who will not participate in the tribute to Joan of Arc this Sunday, May 1, tradition of the National Rally, expressed herself in a video posted on social networks, mentioning in particular the legislative campaign to come.
Marine Le Pen came out of the media silence she had observed since her presidential defeat on April 24 on Sunday, through a brief video message calling on voters to choose the RN candidates for the June 12 and 19 legislative elections.
During this election, “you will have the choice between deputies subject to Emmanuel Macron who will blindly pass all his decisions, without counter-power, and deputies who support my project and my values for France”, declares the former candidate of the National Rally in a sequence published on social networks.
My project aims to put the value of work at the center of our major societal choices. The France we love will allow everyone to live from their work or their retirement, to undertake without being burdened with unjust standards or taxes.
I wish you a beautiful #May1st ! ⤵️ pic.twitter.com/oGFyXxbNuu

Marine Le Pen returns in this 2’30” sequence to the themes of her campaign, in particular “the defense of work and purchasing power”, which she opposes to Emmanuel Macron, accused of supporting “privileges”. With a maximum of deputies who will support me in Parliament, I will be able to protect your purchasing power and bring measures which finally recognize the work at its fair value”, she affirms.
Marine Le Pen arrived on April 24 in the lead in 158 of the 577 legislative constituencies. She won 41.45% of the vote nationally, against 58.55% for re-elected President Emmanuel Macron.

The acting president of the RN, Jordan Bardella, must lay a wreath at the end of the morning in front of the statue of Joan of Arc in Paris. It is the first time that this demonstration, traditional on May 1 for the National Rally (ex-National Front), is not chaired by a member of the Le Pen family, whether it is the founder of the party Jean -Marie or her daughter Marine, who succeeded her in 2011.
The party is also organizing a videoconference at the end of the day for its future legislative candidates.
