Ile-de-France regional councilor Philippe Ballard, RN candidate in the second constituency of Oise, returned to the discreet campaign led by Marine Le Pen in the legislative elections. At the microphone of Pierre de Vilno, the party spokesperson explains that the former presidential candidate needed a rest.

INTERVIEW

While the legislative elections started with a bang the day after the presidential election, the leader of the National Rally Marine Le Pen is discreet on the media scene, even though she is a candidate for re-election in the 11th district of the North. “Do not launch a search notice, it’s not worth it!”, Reassures Philippe Ballard, regional councilor for Ile-de-France and RN candidate in the second district of Oise, in the program Europe Evening Weekend. At the microphone of Pierre de Vilno, the party spokesman explains that the finalist in the presidential election “took a few days of well-deserved rest”.

“She does 8 p.m., mornings, gives interviews…”

“You have to remember that (Marine Le Pen) started her campaign in September, two or three trips a week, she deserved a few days of rest”, insists Philippe Ballard, also highlighting a “Mélenchon media sequence”. For him, the Nupes agreement “will make pschitt” because of “dissension” and “it is obvious that Jean-Luc Mélenchon will never become Prime Minister”.

The RN candidate for the legislative elections recalls, however, that Marine Le Pen “for a few days, has been doing 8 p.m., radio mornings, giving interviews to newspapers”. “She is the main opponent” to Emmanuel Macron, concludes the regional councilor of Ile-de-France.
