The three-time unsuccessful candidate in the presidential election received her niece Marion Maréchal, head of the Zemmourist Reconquest list, in the afternoon. “I also met a certain number of other officials to be able to build this majority,” she assured, considering that “this is what the French expect of us.”

They said: ‘We want to change direction.’ Well, we tell them, we are ready to do it, with enthusiasm (and) relief, because I think we are saving the country three years,” continued Ms. Le Pen, calling for “to be able to to bring together, to open up to all men and women of good will who are patriots, who clearly disagree with Emmanuel Macron’s policies and who wish to come with us to build a stable majority.
“We have a historic chance to allow the national camp to put France back on track,” she said. She also indicated that in the event of a victory for the National Rally in the early legislative elections, Jordan Bardella was intended to become Prime Minister, and not herself.
“For months, we have been working with Jordan Bardella as part of an executive couple with the aim of fulfilling as best as possible the functions that the French would entrust to us. Me towards the Presidency of the Republic, him towards Matignon, there is no no reason to change that,” argued the member for Pas-de-Calais.
