The National Assembly is often the scene of clashes and virulent debates between deputies. By spending their time there, some have even developed certain habits there. Marine Le Pen loses her nerves in the Assembly
If she only carefully observes Gabriel Attal, it is not uncommon for her to argue with the other parliamentarians. As recently as February 5, Marine Le Pen lost her nerve in the National Assembly, attacking Nadia Hai. A tense exchange which took place during the examination of the Nupes motion of censure against the Prime Minister. That day, RN deputy Jean-Philippe Tanguy virulently criticized Gabriel Attal’s project, causing the former Minister of the City to react. It was then that the leader of the National Rally released a “Shut up, shut up!”, intended for the former minister of Jean Castex, “adding to these words a hand gesture telling him to be silent.” Words which immediately set the Assembly on fire. Constance Le Grip, MP for Renaissance, then criticized Marine Le Pen for “vulgarity”. “She’s the one who’s vulgar!”, replied the person concerned, once again charging Nadia Hai. “What are your substantive proposals? It’s empty, it’s hollow”, retorted the Yvelines MP. “Don’t talk to me about substance, don’t you!”, replied the RN leader. An incident which lasted a few minutes before the Assembly regained its calm.
