The show A Sunday in the countryside is often conducive to confidence. And it’s not Marine Ltemporel who will say the opposite. Invited on Sunday November 5, 2023 on the set of France 2 alongside Martin Fourcade and Claude Lelouch, the young woman spoke with an open heart. Now separated from her former fiancé Christophe Malmezac, Miss France 2013 has decided to return to Paris, she who was a general practitioner in New Caledonia. The young woman then spoke about her childhood, the daughter of a drummer and a mother working in human resources. Alongside her brother and sister, she specifies that she was raised in a “modest family”. But she reveals that her little brother clearly did not take well to his media coverage, especially since her other sister, Lou-Anne, was also elected Miss Burgundy. “He said: ‘But I can’t take it anymore! I want to exist too! And I’m tired of you talking to me about my sisters'” she indicated.
Marine Ltemporel: “Being treated the same way”
A bitter observation for Marine Ltemporel who then decided to move away from her family. “That’s what made me move away from my family, my uncles, my aunts, my cousins, because in fact I was no longer considered in the same way”, she confides. So, to no longer find herself in an unpleasant situation, Miss France 2013 has packed her bags. “And I wanted, I needed, to find my roots, to be treated in the same way as the other members of the family and people stop talking to me about television, personalities that I could meet and we could have normal, basic discussions.” However, there was one person in her family who immediately believed in her: her grandmother, who then predicted that she would become Miss France. “Every time I saw her, on weekends and we spent time as a family, she always told me that at some point during the weekend. And she was convinced of it. She told me: ‘Promise me you’ll participate one day, that you are going to try the experience and that you are going to present yourself to a Miss casting.'”
