Actress Veronica Ferres congratulates Mario Adorf on his 90th birthday – and tells of the first meeting with her colleague.
The actors Mario Adorf (90, "The Great Bellheim") and Veronica Ferres (55, "Schtonk!") Have known each other since the shooting of "Rossini – or the murderous question of who slept with whom" (1997). On his milestone birthday on Tuesday (September 8), she publicly congratulates him on Instagram, referring to the successful film comedy (including four German film awards and three Bavarian film awards) by director Helmut Dietl (1944-2015).
"I still remember my first meeting with Mario very well. I was in my early 30s, he was in my 60s – and I had to seduce him as Rossini," writes Ferres. "I was super nervous. But the moment I met him, I knew I didn't need to. He's one of the warmest people I know. Happy Birthday, legend!", She concludes her post.
Later Adorf and Ferres could be seen together in the films "The Secret of the Whales" (2010) and "The Long Wave Behind the Kiel" (2011).
