From this evening, from 6 p.m., will be launched the next edition of Twitch Rivals, centered around the cult Mario Kart. In total, more than 48 international streamers will compete in teams on the racing game. One thing is certain, the games are likely to be explosive. Let’s come back together to this event which risks (once again) unleashing the crowds!
What is Twitch Rivals?
Twitch Rivals are tournaments organized by (as the name suggests) the Twitch streaming platform, on different games. Between Call of Duty, Minecraft, or Fortnite, all more or less competitive games have gone there. The event brings together various teams of streamers from all over the world. Usually, Twitch Rivals tournaments are organized by geographical areas, such as EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) or NA (North America). Tonight, the event will take place in EMEA and will bring together 48 streamers from all over the world divided into 8 teams!
Recently, during Twitch Con 2022, the French shone in Amsterdam by winning the Twitch Rivals Ultimate Challengedefined as “the biggest competition ever held at TwitchCon”. Tonton and Jeel had the honor of bringing home the tidy sum of $25,000 as well as a nice trophy. For this edition of Twitch Rivals on Mario Kart, the $25,000 cash prize will be donated to an association. Enough to motivate the Francophonie to follow the path of its predecessors and win everything tonight!
The Ponce team at the top!
The 8 teams participating in this Twitch Rivals have recently been revealed, and there is a heavy French side ! On the program, big names in French streaming, but also regulars in Nintendo’s video game production.
The French-speaking team will be led by Captain Ponce, a regular at Mario Kart tournaments, who will have to guide his troops through various wild races.

After weeks of streaming training, Ponce and his team will be on top for tonight! We wish them a landslide victory, although the opposing teams seem formidable. Some of them are even made up of pro players, enough to give our French-speaking team a hard time!
