“ah yes yes fuck it, Zidane!” Team Mario takes on Team Bowser in this brand new Mario Strikers Battle League Football gameplay video, commented in full in French, just to believe it until the end.

Available on June 10, a little over a month before a certain Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the football game Mario Strikers Battle League Football is once again illustrated and this time with a full match, fully commented by a professional of the discipline.

A compelling video

A pretty cool idea for a video that actually looks pretty good. Commented by Xavier Domergue, this match in the Mushroom Kingdom pits Mario’s team against Bowser’s, in a stadium jam-packed with Toad and Yoshi. Lasting 6 minutes, the confrontation allows us to see all the gameplay mechanics of the game in situation, with objects to pick up on the ground, super-strikes, or electrified edges on which you can send your opponents flying.

A few concerns though

The video looks good and it is easy to imagine many streamers getting caught up in the game of competitions and commentaries on improvised matches. However, one wonders if the content of this new game of Mario and his band in the land of sport will live up to expectations, or even at the level of previous episodes of the series: a dozen characters, a number of stadiums which has Looks very poor… So certainly, what prevails in this kind of game is indeed the gameplay and the whole aspect of player customization seems quite neat, however one wonders if BLF has enough arguments in its bag to federate a large community of mustachioed footix.

After an endless wait, Mario Strikers is making a comeback this summer on Switch. It is an event on which we had to come back with all the information to know at all costs before its release. Characters, date, price, weight, features: that’s what you had to remember.
