Mario + The Rabbids 2 continues to make presentations. After revealing its release date during the last Nintendo Direct Mini, Ubisoft reveals more about the characters, the universe, and especially the gameplay.
Some details about the story of Mario + The Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Mario + The Rabbids: Sparks of Hope takes place in a universe where the world of Rabbids and Mario create a perfect alliance. However, this galaxy is threatened by Cursa, an evil entity that seeks to absorb all of its energy. Its physical manifestation is called the Darkmess. The Sparks, creatures born from the union between the Rabbids and the Lumas are also in danger, but they can count on the help of the famous plumber and his friends.
On their quest to end the misdeeds of Cursa, players will have to travel through many worlds while exploring the universe around them freely. Obviously, the whole little band will meet a plethora of secondary characters who will give various side quests with puzzles and rewards.
Three new characters introduced
It is above all the combat that is at the heart of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. It is always a question of forming a team of three heroes, composed at will, who will be able to move in real time during these tactical and dynamic clashes. To gain the advantage over the adversary, all strategies are good, even using your enemies wisely. By jumping on them, throwing one of them at the others so that they explode.
Each hero also has effective double-shots, unique weapons that offer complementary skills and a special attack to weaken enemies, heal allies or just do big damage. Three new characters will also be available in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope: Rabbid Harmony, the most jaded of them all, and Edge, a mysterious new rock n’ roll Rabbid who fights with a sword.
