Mario + The Rabbids Sparks of Hope presents itself at greater length

This new encounter between the world of Mario and that of the Rabbids opposes our heroes (and Bowser) to an evil entity named Cursa, whose minions attack the Sparks, creatures born from the fusion between the Lumas and the Rabbids. The game directed by Ubisoft Milan is still presented in the form of a tactical adventure but whose worlds can now be explored freely, while certain characters will provide side quests, pretexts to search the smallest corners of these landscapes ranging from the beach to the mountains passing by the ruins.

Organized in teams of three, the team’s nine characters are also playable in real time during tactical battles. In addition to exploiting the weapon and the skill specific to each character, the player will have to take advantage of the environment to optimize his strategy, in particular to take cover. Sparks also have a role to play on the battlefield and seem to double as elemental ammo.

In addition to these two videos, Ubisoft also unveiled the trio of composers responsible for the music for this sequel. Already present on the 2017 game, Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie) is joined by Gareth Coker (Ori and the Blind Forest) and the illustrious Yoko Shimomura, for whom this is not the first contact with Mario since we owe him including the OSTs of the Mario & Luigi games.
