Mario vs. Donkey Kong: a very limited demo available and an update on the new video features

Games in the universe of Mario will still be numerous in 2024 on Switch, starting within a few days Mario vs. Donkey Kong, a remake of the Game Boy Advance game that was unveiled last September. If you are curious and the videos released by Nintendo are not enough for you, good news, a demo has just seen the light of day on theeShop ! It gives access to four levels of the first world (three where you have to collect the Mini Mario and one where you have to lead them to the exit)which is not much and should not take you more than a few minutes to complete it as there is no difficulty since it is the beginning. It can be played alone or in local cooperation with a choice of play styles Relaxed (no time limit and bubbles forgiving sustained damage) or Classic (like on GBA). A trailer provides an update on the content that we will be able to discover in the final version, with some new features compared to the original game in addition to those mentioned above. If you haven’t played the game at the time and wish not to be spoiled by solving the puzzles, don’t look, even if it’s basic that is shown.

Two new worlds will be present, in an amusement park and a snowy area.coming between those already known, for a total of over 130 levels (normal worlds, More and levels Expert). It remains to be seen whether the 14 levels which were accessible via the maps of theeReader have been integrated in some way or have simply been pushed aside. New obstacles have also been integrated and cooperation should give rise to some variations within the levels to take into account the presence of two players.

You will also find below the game’s introductory cinematicpartly present in the demo and remade almost identically to the 2004 original with more animations and some aesthetic changes, but also fewer words from Mario at the very end, which is somewhat of a shame.

The release date of Mario vs. Donkey Kong As a reminder, it is set for February 16 and you can pre-order it at the price of €39.99 on Amazon And to the Fnacwith €5 offered on your account with the latter reseller and the possibility of obtaining a key ring.
