Marion Rousse far from her son: how she organizes herself during the Tour de France

Marion Rousse revealed in the pages of TV Mag du Figaro, this Thursday, how she manages her life as a mother and her position as a consultant for France Télévisions.

That’s it, the Tour de France is back for a new edition. On Friday July 1, the runners will set off from the roads of Denmark across the country, to the Champs-Élysées. The competition will be broadcast on France Télévisions. In the commentary, Marion Rousse is back for a new year. The Runner’s Companion Julian Alaphilippe is a consultant for the public service group but also the mother of a little Ninowhich has just celebrated its first candle.

Asked by TV Magazine in an interview published this Thursday, Marion Rousse explained how she reconciles family life and professional life. “Nino stays with my parents, but he will come to see me on rest days, because a month without him would be too long…, said the young woman. Even when I leave it for an hour, I spend my time looking at photos. I’m gaga!”

And obviously, Marion Rousse did not escape the question about the man who shares his life. Asked about their daily life on the Tour, she as a consultant and he as a runner, she made things clear: “Despite what people may believe, we are not in the same hotels. He is at the start and I at the finish, so we meet all the time!”

Julian and Marion, a passion for bicycles

Not fully ready following his injury, Julian Alaphilippe is absent from the routes of the Tour de France. But Marion Rousse, she is prepared to make her big comeback after having spent the 2021 edition taking care of her son. “It’s a year-round job. I watch all the races. On the Tour, we spot the route in the morning with Laurent Jalabert and Alexandre Pasteur. It’s an important moment for the quality of our comments. Just like the having a connection with the peloton and knowing the stories.” A job that fascinates her.
