Marion Rousse in tears: Julian Alaphilippe’s companion taken by emotion

The last two months have been particularly intense for Marion Rousse. The young woman of 30 years has lived for several years as close as possible to the Tour de France since she is a consultant for France Télévisions. Alongside Laurent Jalabert, she dissects the stages and gives her expertise on the most prestigious cycling race in the world. Falling into cycling when she was little, the pretty blonde is a real cycling enthusiast, a sport she practiced at a very high level. For several months now, she has had the honor of being appointed director of the Tour de France Women, a new competition which has just experienced its first edition.

A great success for Marion Rousse and all her team since this great premiere ended yesterday and everyone agrees that it was very promising for the future. After the disappointment of seeing her companion Julian Alaphilippe not be present this year on the Grande Boucle, this women’s competition was even more important for the mother of little Nino, who spoke after the arrival of the champions yesterday after- noon at the Planche des Belles Filles, a peak in the southern Vosges mountains. Questioned by the France Télévisions teams, she appreciated this first experience: “It was great”as Sports.fr reported.

We say to ourselves that we have been able to do something quite exceptional

Beyond the relief of having succeeded in this first edition of the Tour de France Women, it is also the emotion that took hold of Marion Rousse. “To be honest with you, I shed a few tears when I passed the finish line at the top at the top of the Super Planche des Belles Filles and that I saw everyone present at the edge of the roads. We say to ourselves that we have been able to do something quite exceptional”, she revealed after the race won by the Dutch runner, Annemiek van Vleuten. Visibly moved, Marion Rousse keeps an unforgettable memory of this great premiere, as she also showed on her Instagram account. “No words to describe how I feel this morning… Thank you”she wrote this morning in a publication where she thanks and congratulates the runners.
