Mark Walhberg and John Lennon headline Apple TV+ in December 2023

Apple TV+ is offering this month its big end-of-year blockbuster and a documentary series devoted to the last days of one of the monuments of contemporary music.

December 2023 will be a slack month for Apple TV+, which only offers two notable new features with a big-budget action film and a documentary series. John Lennon: Murder Without A Trial

Apple TV+ returns this December to the assassination of John Lennon, one of the emblematic members of the Beatles. This documentary series explores the personality of Mark David Chapman, the man responsible for Lennon’s murder in front of his hotel, and the events that led to this tragedy. The three episodes also include interviews with the different protagonists of this affair.

The Family Plan

This is the big blockbuster of this end of year at Apple TV+. The Family Plan brings together Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan on screen and tells the story of Dan Morgan, a brave father working as a salesman in a car dealership. Our man hides a past as a government agent, responsible for assassinating the most dangerous individuals on the planet. When old enemies seek revenge, the family will have to flee in a minivan and Dan will reveal his skills to protect his tribe. The pitch draws a lot of inspiration from True Lies by James Cameron, but promises an entertaining action comedy, ideal for the holiday season.
