Market: Sopra Steria changes CEO, raises its forecasts for 2021


PARIS (Reuters) – Sopra Steria announced on Wednesday that Vincent Paris had wished to be “relieved” of his duties as chief executive for family reasons and that the group’s board of directors had chosen Cyril Malargé, current chief operating officer, to succeed him. starting March 1.

In a press release, the digital services and software publishing company also indicated that it was raising its forecasts for the year 2021, ahead of the publication of its detailed results on February 24.

“Current estimates confirm the sharp rebound in operating performance in 2021 with annual objectives largely achieved,” it says.

Organic growth in annual revenue is now expected between 6.3% and 6.4%, versus equal to or greater than 6% previously, while the operating margin on business activity should stand at 8.1 % while the previous estimate was between 7.7% and 8.0%.
