Market: The morale of American households deteriorated in May, shows the survey of the University of Michigan


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. household sentiment fell in May from April, less sharply than initially estimated, final results from the University’s monthly survey showed on Friday. from Michigan.

One-year inflation expectations fell to 4.2% from 4.6% previously, but those over a five-year horizon rose from 3.0% to 3.1%.
