Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder is in quarantine, State Chancellor Florian Herrmann has tested positive for Corona.

The Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (53) "immediately went into quarantine as contact person 1", as he announced on Monday afternoon via Twitter. He will continue the official business digitally. He also wrote: "Wish Florian Herrmann a mild course and a speedy recovery." What is meant is his head of state chancellery, whose post he retweeted.

State Chancellor Florian Herrmann (49) "tested positive for Corona" on Monday, like he did ten minutes before Söder's post via Twitter had announced. "I am doing well under the circumstances. I went into quarantine immediately. All contact persons 1 will be informed immediately."
