Marrakech du rire: the ticket office for the 10th edition will open on Thursday

Canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the health crisis, Marrackech du rire will celebrate its 10th edition next June.

“It was in June 2019… Can’t wait for June 2022! We can’t wait to see you again, ”tweeted Le Marrakech du rire, launched in 2011 by Jamel Debbouze. “Here we go again,” shared the comedian on his networks last Sunday. While the festival will be back from June 15 to 18 in the red city after two years marked by the health crisis, its ticket office opens this Thursday, April 21 in the morning.

A still secret program

For the time being, the festival, which in ten years has become an unmissable comedy event, has not yet announced its anniversary program. But for a decade, the event, which takes place over three days in the Moroccan city, offering paid and free shows, has welcomed the best comedians of all generations, also bringing together personalities from the world of cinema, music and sports.

From Zinedine Zidane to Omar Sy via Maître Gims, Kad Merad, Amel Bent, Gérard Darmon, Black M, Ibrahim Maalouf or even Bigflo and Oli, they have all walked the big stage of Marrakech du rire.

Not to mention that all the stars of laughter have also, over the seasons, joined Jamel Debbouze. Gad Elmaleh, Florence Foresti, Elie Semoun, Patrick Timsit, Anthony Kavanagh, Anne Roumanoff and the next generation brilliantly represented by Ahmed Sylla, Bérengère Krief, Inès Reg, Shirley Souagnon, Waly Dia, Donel Jack’s man or Paul Taylor, to name but a few. they all made the trip.

A “wall of fame” as the festival likes to call it on its website, which bodes well for this long-awaited anniversary edition.
