The Marrakech Film Festival is back for its 19th edition! Discover the exceptional program for this new year full of screenings, encounters and previews.

After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Marrakech film festival returns with great fanfare for its 19th edition. From November 11 to 19, festival-goers will be able to discover new films in preview and attend masterclasses with big names in cinema.

Among the festival’s unmissable events are the opening screening of Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro, exceptional gala screenings – including Master Gardener by Paul Schrader, Marlowe by Neil Jordan and La Syndicaliste by Jean-Paul Salomé – and special screenings – including Corsage by Marie Kreutzer, The Eternal Daughter by Johanna Hogg and Saint Omer by Alice Diop.

Among the other selections, we find the “11th Continent” section which presents audacious and innovative films, classic and modern, but also avant-garde works of Arab or African cinema, a panorama of Moroccan cinema with a selection of fiction and recent documentaries from national production.

Finally, festival-goers will also be able to (re)discover popular films screened outdoors on the mythical Jemaa El Fna square and children will be invited to discover the “Young audience” section with screenings for the youngest and high school students.
