Married at first sight is back for season 8, on M6. The 2024 edition kicked off on March 18. This new edition will be “unpredictable” promised the channel and the public will discover extraordinary participants, “heroes of love” who will have to question themselves more than ever to move forward in the adventure. Unfortunately for one of the couples, the adventure will come to an abrupt end because one of the participants will say “no” to the ceremony. The candidates for Married at First Sight 2024
This year, M6 viewers will have the pleasure of discovering Alice, a 30-year-old perfumery manager. She suffered from obesity during her childhood and was rejected by boys during this time. Ophelia is a real estate account manager. Fresh and dynamic, the 26-year-old single appeals to men. But she has a bad view of love because of a “family curse“. All the women in her family have been disappointed, hurt and betrayed, thus strongly shaking the vision she has of men. Her personal experiences have not helped anything. Despite everything, she still wants to believe in love because it She is a great romantic. She therefore hopes that thanks to their experience, experts Estelle Dossin and Gilbert Bou Jaoudé will allow her to find the man of her life.
Finally, it is Tracy which completes the female cast. The 31-year-old ready-to-wear manager has a moving personal story. She was taken from her mother and was placed by ASE (Children’s Social Assistance) with several foster families. A childhood during which she did not receive the love she longed for. As an adult, she therefore had one goal: to be happy. She did everything to succeed in her professional, social and friendly life. The Married at First Sight candidates
Flo is 33 years old and is a bank loan broker. He is described as an extroverted man, a clown who entertains the gallery. But behind this madness hides a very sensitive person with a huge heart. Florian is responsible for works and he is 30 years old. He always moves forward and looks like a confident man. However, he did not always have confidence in himself. Nice surprise this year, the production once again called on brothers: Jean-Nicolas (31 years old) and Philippe (44 years old). In love, he is very romantic and does not hesitate to pull out all the stops. He is the type to quickly become attached to a woman, a need to live a 100% relationship which comes from his complicated family history which pushed to become independent at the age of 16. A situation that made him mature more quickly.
Raphael (31 years old) is the creator of a startup in the sports sector. Very surrounded by his family and friends, all he needs is love to be completely fulfilled. He has only had brief encounters since his seven-year relationship. The reason ? A physical detail can completely block him and cause him to stop the relationship. However, he is more than ready to commit and build a family. He is aware that because of his blockage, he may have missed out on a great story. Finally, viewers will discover Roman (40 years old), an investor and business manager who has two children. He is hardworking, passionate and ambitious. If he has been perfectly successful in his professional life, he cannot say the same in love. He admits, he is very demanding and doesn’t like routine. The experts will therefore have to present a sparkling, whole, natural, passionate and independent woman. She will have to make it vibrate at every moment.
The marriages
We had to wait until episode 2 on Monday March 25 to discover the first wedding of the season. 81% compatible, Flo and Tracy finally met. And despite her great stress, the brunette said “yes”. Ophélie and Loïc also united in front of their loved ones.
During the April 8, 2024 episode, viewers discovered a new marriage. That of Alice and Florian, 78% compatible. And the public will remember it because the young woman made a special arrival. It was on a motorbike, with her dad, that she arrived in front of all the guests and her future husband.
