Marriott: 71% increase in EPS in the 3rd quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Marriott International reports third quarter 2022 adjusted EPS of $1.69, compared to 99 cents a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA of 985 million, up 44% compared to the same period in 2021 .

The hotel chain claims a system-wide comparable RevPAR (revenue per available room) in constant dollars, up 36.3% year-on-year, to a level now higher – by 1.8% – than that of the same period in 2019.

“In the United States and Canada, our largest region, RevPAR exceeded 2019 levels by 3.5%. The occupancy rate in the region has increased throughout the year, reaching 72% in September,” underlines its CEO Anthony Capuano.
