Marshall launched two new portable audio products this Thursday at a rather attractive price, the Marshall Major V headphones and the Marshall Minor IV headphones.
Now in charge of amplifiers and Marshall-branded headphones and earphones, the manufacturer Zound Industries presented this Tuesday these new portable audio products under the emblematic London brand. Two products were launched, the new Marshall Major V Bluetooth headphones as well as the Marshall Minor IV wireless headphones.
Lightweight, foldable Marshall Major V headphones
As for the Marshall Major V headphones, Zound Industries is not reinventing the road and is once again relying on the emblematic design of its audio headphones, largely taking up the codes of the brand’s amps, notably with a seized texture on the exterior of the ears and a leatherette headband. The Marshall Major V headphones also benefit from 40mm dynamic transducers. Remember that this is an over-ear headset whose pads therefore rest on the auricle and not around it. The headset, however, has the merit of being rather compact, light (186 grams) and foldable.
The new Marshall Major V headphones also benefit from a customizable button to access the voice assistant or the equalizer. However, it is important to note that the Major V does not benefit from active noise reduction. However, we will appreciate the compatibility with the Bluetooth LE Audio standard.
Finally, regarding autonomy, the Major V can be used for 100 consecutive hours and, rare for headphones, also benefits from compatibility with wireless induction charging in addition to USB-C connectivity.
Marshall Minor IV headphones in AirPods format
In addition to the Major V headphones, Marshall also unveiled its new Minor IV headphones this Tuesday. These are open format headphones, like Apple AirPods 3, with 12 mm diameter transducers. Zound Industries, however, specifies that it has revised the design of the headphones to make them more comfortable than the Minor III, while making them rainproof.

However, the headphones do not benefit from active noise reduction either, but do have Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility. Concerning autonomy, count on seven hours for the headphones alone and up to 30 hours with the charging case.
Price and availability of Marshall Major V and Minor IV
The Marshall Major V headphones are priced at 149 euros while the Marshall Minor IV are priced at 129 euros.
