Marshall Napier is dead. “McLeod’s Daughters” stars like Bridie Carter have said goodbye to their colleague on social media.

New Zealand actor Marshall Napier has died at the age of 70 after suffering from cancer. That gave his daughter Jessica Napier (43) in an Instagram post known. After a “short and intense battle with a brain tumor,” he left peacefully and surrounded by his family, explains the actress, who published a portrait photo of her father. “Dad, you are one of a kind and I can’t even imagine what the world will be like without you. Your charisma and charm were second to none. Your creativity and intellect were my inspiration. I love you so much and I feel this way without you lost.”

“McLeod’s Daughters” linked him to his daughter

Jessica Napier appeared in front of the camera with her father for the Australian drama series “McLeod’s Daughters” (2001-2009). He played Harold “Harry” Ryan from 2001 to 2006. His daughter played Rebecca “Becky” Howard from 2001 to 2003. Members of the series cast have said goodbye to Napier on social media.

Leading actress Bridie Carter (51) wrote, among other things in an Instagram post: “What a privilege to have worked and spent time with Marshall all those years ago. I couldn’t have asked for a better mock father-in-law – what fun we had! The twists, turns and plots were inspired by Marshall’s original approach fulfilled. He will be missed by many, many people around the world.” Colleague Rachael Carpani (41) added in an Instagram story: “You will be so missed, Marshall Napier. One of the first memories of my career is laughing with you. Our thoughts are with your family.”
