Marshmallow bears that may contain metal bodies recalled throughout France

These voluntary recalls concern batches of sweets from the Cémoi and Carrefour Classic brands.

Be careful if you recently bought marshmallow bears in the supermarket. Several batches, of the Cémoi and Carrefour Classic brand, are the subject of a massive recall throughout France, according to the Rappel Conso site. They are in fact likely to contain filaments or metallic foreign bodies.

These voluntary recalls, at the initiative of the brands, concern a total of five Cémoi bear references and one Carrefour Classic bear reference. The lots in question were sold throughout France, in Carrefour, Auchan, Casino, Intermarché, E.Leclerc, Netto, Cémoi Boutique, B&M, Cora, Système U, Spar, Vival stores, as well as on Amazon. It is possible to find the batch numbers concerned on the Rappel Conso website.

Possible refund

It is recommended that people who hold products subject to these recalls not to consume them, and to contact the consumer service of Cémoi (by email at [email protected]) or Carrefour (by phone at 0 805 5000 85) for reimbursement, before destroying the product.

For all the products concerned, the recall procedure will end on October 7th. Batches of two different references of Cémoi marshmallows are also subject to a recall.

In addition, the Rappel Conso site also alerts on batches of smoked salmon recalled for a risk of the presence of listeria, the agent responsible for listeriosis. Two references are concerned: one, from the Nautica brand, distributed by Lidl, and the other, from the Ronde des mers brand, offered by E.Leclerc.
