Martha is Dead is getting censored on PlayStation platforms

martha is dead is seen as a horror game that will take players on an extreme narrative adventure. The scenes and the theme in general should bring such discomfort, thatit is even advised that only adult audiences play it. Martha is Dead sets foot in 1944 in Italy in the midst of a conflict between the German opposition and the allies. The story begins with the desecrated body of a drowned woman and it is about Martha. And it is undoubtedly because of this psychologically overwhelming narrative line that PlayStation has made the decision to censor the game from LKA and Wired Productions.

In a press release, the teams in charge of the development of the game stressed that they were very sorry to see their game changed because of this censorship inflicted by Sony. No information has been given regarding the changed items, but the PS4 and PS5 experience is going to be totally different from the PC and Xbox versions. For indeed, only Microsoft versions will not be changedwith the game in its original state.

Due to these events, the developers regret to announce the postponement of the game in physical version, but Martha is Dead will still be obtainable in digital version from February 24. The physical version will be available the following year. The devs even label these changes as unplanned, which isn’t very common 10 days before the game’s launch.

Therefore, for those who would have liked to play it, know that the PlayStation versions will be changed, while the Xbox and PC versions will be intact.
