Marvel Studios struck a blow at Comic Con in San Diego, revealing its plans for the MCU sequel. To see more clearly, we offer you a recap of the MCU film projects with all the release dates.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were ecstatic after studio boss Kevin Feige’s announcements on stage at San Diego Comic Con.
The latter confirmed the end of phase 4 of the MCU after the release of Black Panther 2 on November 9th.
A first trailer for this second part has also been revealed. Very emotionally charged, it pays a vibrant tribute to Chadwick Boseman, hero of the first film, who died in 2020.
After Wakanda Forever, Phase 5 of the MCU will begin with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, whose release is set for February 15, 2023. Paul Rudd and the feature film team took advantage of the event to reveal a first movie poster. The work will mark the beginning of the Multiverse saga.
After the adventures of Ant-Man, phase 5 will continue with the 3rd episode of Guardians of the Galaxy. It will be visible in dark rooms on May 3, 2023. A new logo has been unveiled to keep fans waiting, pending a first trailer.
On July 26, 2023, MCU aficionados will be entitled to the Captain Marvel sequel, titled The Marvels.
So far, we already knew the release dates of these feature films. Kevin Feige therefore took advantage of Comic Con to tell us more about the rest of this phase 5.
Marvel Phase 5 of the MCU with films and series
Thus, the great honcho of the Maison des Idées has set a date for the new Blade, which will be played by Mahershala Ali. It will land on November 3, 2023 in the USA and on November 1 in France.
Captain America New World Order, starring Anthony Mackie as Chris Evans’ successor, will be released on May 1, 2024.
Thunderbolts, the MCU’s Suicide Squad, has been dated July 24, 2024, along with a rather stylish debut logo.
Marvel then mentioned phase 6, which will be inaugurated by the reboot of the Fantastic 4. It will be released on November 6, 2024.
Then, an as yet untitled feature film will land in February 2025, just before a new Avengers movie. Called The Kang Dynasty, it is scheduled for April 30, 2025.
Another untitled work has been dated for July 2025. It will precede a second Avengers, titled Secret Wars, which will land on November 5, 2025.
The latter will close phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
